I Said, EPILOGUE!
That’s alllll, folks.
I would like to take this time and this space to thank everyone for all their support over the years. The Bunny System has been a labor of love for the past ten years, and a regular published feature for exactly seven (as of three days ago), and I couldn’t have made it as far as I did without a loving, dedicated and occasionally somewhat frightening fanbase. I hope you guys have had as much fun reading this thing as I did making it.
Doing a comic isn’t always easy. Those who have followed my blog know that. Sometimes you want to run your head through a wall while screaming. Sometimes you do exactly that! But, while not every comic came easy, and not every comic was my very best, I don’t think I ever did a bad show, and that is something I am proud of.
So . . . . what now? Well, first things first. Ten years of work merits a goddamned vacation! We’re going to keep the archives up, of course, but don’t look for much activity on this page for the next two months. After that? Well, I’m going to test out a couple of smaller comics to run as special features. There’s a very large project that will go into production now that Bunnies is done, something I’ve been piecing together for five years now. However, it’s going to be labor-intensive and unable to update as rapidly as Bunnies has. At the end of four months (two of vacation, two of special features,) I’ll have a better idea of where I am with it, and will hopefully have something awesome to show you.
But, first things first. Beach umbrellas and alcoholic drinks served in coconuts! I am going on a webcomics vacation, with preparations in the works for August. Thank you again for everything, and remember, this isn’t goodbye – it’s “smell you later!”

Have you thought of putting the whole archive in some kind of zip/rar file for easier reading?
Maybe do a ‘donate X amount of USD to see the link’ kind of a deal.
You could always host it, for free, on a site like megaupload or mediafire.

Hi! I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your comic… I only discovered it last year, but that didn’t keep me from loving it.
I’ll admit… I was VERY sad when I realized it would be ending! I’m not sure if your “project” includes a new webcomic, but… I’m really hoping you continue drawing comics in the future. Your updates will be severely missed on my RSS feed.
Thanks again for the comics, you’ve done a wonderful thing with this site, and I really hope it continues in some form someday.
Unfortunately, this would involve a lot of work rescanning and editing a lot of comics that were unable to be saved from earlier in the run. If I’m going to put that much work in, I may as well go and finish the rest of the books.
And yes, there will be more books!

I only found your comic a few months ago, read the archives with glee, and now it’s done. “sniff”. Ah well, thanks for a great comic, you had me laughing and thoughtful, many times… fare well in all your ventures, and again, thanks.

Thank you for taking up a small part of my life! It was fun! I think your’s is the first web comic I have followed from start to finish and not abandoned because of politics or religion. I really appreciate that! You always stuck to the funny. Long days and pleasant nights!

hey when you do put together more books, could you please release them two at a time or something similar as a package? It’s just the postage fees for where I am cost more than the actual cost of the book :/

I dropped in very late via a link from Square Root of Minus Garfield, and am sorry that I didn’t see this strip whilst it was happening, but glad to have made its and your acquaintance. Did you ever get another webcomic started? Your LJ hasn’t updated for a year (I didn’t realise that LJ still existed!)
